This course explores the book as an interdisciplinary medium, emphasizing the integration and experimentation with form, content, structure, and ideas. During the first half of the semester, students create various books, examining sequence, series, and text/image relationships using different book structures. These "sketches" prepare students for an extended book project in the second half of the term.
